Members of Charlotte County’s seven fire departments and the Charlotte County Rescue Squad took time out of their busy schedules to support a lemonade stand over the weekend.
While members of the Meherrin Fire Department were out doing driver training, they drove past a lemonade stand with some very determined young girls trying to flag customers in.
Of course, they turned around and supported their efforts, and learned more about the cause.
The young ladies are spending their summer break from school selling lemonade and sweet treats raising money for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Once the department heard of the awesome job these girls were doing they wanted to make sure they knew how much they were supported so a plan was made to show up that evening and support them even bigger with all of the departments.
Anyone in the Keysville area can swing by The Lemon Heads Lemonade Stand at 266 Osborne Street.
