Kindergarten students at Eureka Elementary School enjoyed learning about the life cycle of an apple recently from local extension agents Ms. Darla and Ms. Pepper. Students tasted and compared different types of apples. They put life cycle picture cards in order and discussed the importance of bees pollinating the trees. Lastly, the kindergarten students each got to “pick” an apple off of Ms. Darla’s pretend apple tree.
