Phenix Elementary is trying out something new, in the form of the Kindness Clubs. January was all about empathy. Students voted on who showed empathy the best in their class. Each month for the rest of the year, students will vote on someone they think showed a social skill related to kindness. “We can’t wait to see who will be picked in February for respecting others’ personal space,” Phenix officials said in a statement.
