On Tuesday, July 9, students from Bacon District Elementary and Central Middle School’s 21st Century Summer Programs enjoyed an exciting and informative Career Day. This event featured employees from a variety of local businesses and organizations, including Boot Hill Dairy, Bank of Charlotte County, Charlotte County Sheriff’s Department, Dominion Energy, VDOT, Farm Bureau, Charlotte County Rescue Squad, and the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center. These professionals shared valuable insights into their respective fields, offering students a glimpse into potential career paths within the community.
