HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL — The Randolph-Henry Statesmen will play host to Prince Edward High on Friday, Oct. 18. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Randolph-Henry High, located at 755 David Bruce Avenue in Charlotte Court House.
OCTOBER 19
FALL CARNIVAL — Salem Baptist Church is having a Fall Carnival on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Salem Baptist Church is located at 4050 Salem School Road in Red Oak. The Carnival is free and will include food, Bingo, a bouncy house and more. For more information call (434)222-3236.

CASUAL DRESS SUNDAY — St. Andrews Baptist Church, located at 2100 Taro Road in Cullen, will hold a casual dress Sunday on Sunday, Oct. 20. People are invited to wear a t-shirt and jeans or their favorite team jersey. Sunday School starts at 9:45 a.m. and worship begins at 11 a.m.

VARSITY VOLLEYBALL — The Randolph-Henry volleyball team will play host to Mecklenburg High on Thursday, Oct. 21. The match is set for 7 p.m. at Randolph-Henry High, located at 755 David Bruce Avenue in Charlotte Court House.
OCTOBER 23
MUSEUM TOURS — The Central High Museum will be open for tours from noon to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23. The museum is located at 401 Thomas Jefferson Highway in Charlotte Court House.

CHURCH ANNIVERSARY — St. Louis Baptist Church will be celebrating its 144th Church Anniversary on Sunday, October 27, during regular church service which starts at 10 a.m. The church is located at 111 St. Louis Road in Charlotte Court House. Rev. Rayvon Johnson who is the pastor of Antioch Baptist Church in Keysville will deliver the message. Come celebrate this joyous occasion.

HOLIDAY BAZAAR — St. Theresa’s Catholic Church will hold a holiday bazaar on Friday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov. 2. On Friday, the event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will take place at the Parish Center, located at 700 Buffalo Street in Farmville.

WEEKLY WORSHIP — Tabernacle Baptist Church will hold Sunday School every Sunday at 10 a.m. except 5th Sundays. Services start at 11:30 a.m. on the first and third Sunday of the month.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY WORSHIP — A worship service with Confident Women Ministry is held every Sunday at 3 p.m. online via conference call. Services are led by Rev. Loretta Bailey and anyone is invited to call 1-657-390-7012 to take part.
ST. MICHAEL BAPTIST CHURCH — St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch holds worship services at 11 a.m. the second and fourth Sundays of each month Masks are required. The Rev. James E. Goode is the pastor.
SHILOH BAPTIST CHURCH — Shiloh Baptist Church, located at 125 Shiloh Church Road in Drakes Branch holds services every Sunday at 10 a.m. Rev. Dr. Horace B. Parham Jr. is the pastor. All are welcome.

HEBRON CHURCH — Hebron Church located at 111 Hebron Church Road in Saxe holds in-person services at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday.
PHENIX UNITED METHODIST CHURCH — Phenix United Methodist Church, 225 Church St., in Phenix worship service is at 9 a.m. each Sunday morning. There will be no Sunday school.
