OCTOBER 27

CHURCH ANNIVERSARY — St. Louis Baptist Church will be celebrating its 144th Church Anniversary on Sunday, October 27, during regular church service which starts at 10 a.m. The church is located at 111 St. Louis Road in Charlotte Court House. Rev. Rayvon Johnson who is the pastor of Antioch Baptist Church in Keysville will deliver the message. Come celebrate this joyous occasion.

OCTOBER 30

SPOOKY STORYTIME — The Charlotte County Library will hold Spooky Storytime for All Ages at its Keysville branch on Wednesday, Oct. 30, beginning at 11 a.m. The library is located at 300 King Street. There will be a kids craft after storytime.

MUSEUM TOURS — The Central High Museum will be open for tours from noon to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30. The museum is located at 401 Thomas Jefferson Highway in Charlotte Court House.

OCTOBER 31

TRICK OR TREAT — The Town of Keysville will be open for trick-or-treating from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31 for children 12 and under.

NOVEMBER 1 – 2

HOLIDAY BAZAAR — St. Theresa’s Catholic Church will hold a holiday bazaar on Friday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov. 2. On Friday, the event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will take place at the Parish Center, located at 700 Buffalo Street in Farmville.

NOVEMBER 2

LIBRARY BOOKSALE — The Friends of the Charlotte County Library Autumn Booksale will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to noon. That’ll be at the Charlotte Court House location, at 112 to 116 LeGrande Avenue.

NOVEMBER 8

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL — The Randolph-Henry Statesmen will play host to Nottoway High on Friday, Nov. 8. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Randolph-Henry High, located at 755 David Bruce Avenue in Charlotte Court House.

WEEKLY WORSHIP — Tabernacle Baptist Church will hold Sunday School every Sunday at 10 a.m. except 5th Sundays. Services start at 11:30 a.m. on the first and third Sunday of the month.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY WORSHIP — A worship service with Confident Women Ministry is held every Sunday at 3 p.m. online via conference call. Services are led by Rev. Loretta Bailey and anyone is invited to call 1-657-390-7012 to take part.

ST. MICHAEL BAPTIST CHURCH — St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch holds worship services at 11 a.m. the second and fourth Sundays of each month Masks are required. The Rev. James E. Goode is the pastor.

SHILOH BAPTIST CHURCH — Shiloh Baptist Church, located at 125 Shiloh Church Road in Drakes Branch holds services every Sunday at 10 a.m. Rev. Dr. Horace B. Parham Jr. is the pastor. All are welcome.

ST. ANDREWS BAPTIST CHURCH — St. Andrews Baptist Church in Cullen holds worship services at 11 a.m. the first and third Sundays. Sunday school begins at 9:45 a.m. the first, second, third and fourth Sundays. The Rev. Dr. Maurice Finney is the pastor.

BEAUTIFUL PLAIN BAPTIST — Beautiful Plain Baptist Church holds services at 11 a.m. the second and fourth Sundays at Beautiful Plain Baptist Church, Charlotte Court House until further notice.

HEBRON CHURCH — Hebron Church located at 111 Hebron Church Road in Saxe holds in-person services at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday.

PHENIX UNITED METHODIST CHURCH — Phenix United Methodist Church, 225 Church St., in Phenix worship service is at 9 a.m. each Sunday morning. There will be no Sunday school.

MT. CARMEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH — Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 1101 Mt. Carmel Road, in Brookneal worship service is at 11 a.m. each Sunday morning. There will be no Sunday school.
