Elizabeth Ann Wiley, 80, of Phenix, passed away on April 16, in Bedford. She was born on March 17, 1945, in Prince Edward County to the late Willie and Mary Mack Wiley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings, James “Pike” Wiley, Marie Dews, Virginia Wade, Russell Wiley, Samuel Wiley and Doris Stevens.
She leaves to cherish fond memories: three sons, Jerry Wiley of Lynchburg, Gordon Wiley of Nelson and Kenneth Wiley of Pamplin; three daughters, Mary “Teresa” (Willis) Hamlett of Appomattox, Carolyn (William) Hamlett of Rustburg and Debbie (Ryan) Walthall of Nathalie; one sister, Louise Roebuck of Roanoke; sister-in-law, Lillie Wiley; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 26, at 2 p.m. at Triumph Baptist Church in Cullen with interment in the church cemetery. The public viewing will be held on Friday, April 25, from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home in Brookneal. Condolences may be expressed at http://www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.
