Russell Lee Lockett, 73 of Saxe, entered into eternal rest on May 10, at his residence. He was the son of the late Deacon Richard Lockett and Annie Currin Lockett. He was married to the late Sylvia Randolph Lockett.
In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Randolph Lockett; and two sisters, Carol Poole and Maurice Dent.
Russell is survived by his daughters, Kamara Terry (Michael) and Krystle Lockett, both of Manassas; his beloved grandson, Mikey Terry; sisters, Clarice Foster (Upper Marlboro, Maryland), Odelia Isaacs (Washington, D.C.) and Bernadine Johnson (Saxe); nephews, Antron Dent (Desirae), Christian Poole (Erica), Michael Poole (Rebecca) and Ryan Lockett-Goode; nieces, Karen Graves, Athelia Doggette, Kim Johnson, Erin Johnson and Stephanie Isaacs; brothers-in-law, William Randolph and John Johnson; one cherished sister-in-law, Delores Randolph; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 15, at 11 a.m. at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Saxe with interment in the church cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at http://www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.
