Fuqua students recognized

Fuqua School announces scholastic recognition for the lower/middle/ upper school levels for the first semester of the 2018-2019 academic year. The Honor Roll consists of three categories including, High Academic Honors, Academic Honors and Honors.
During the grading period, students who earn all A’s attain High Academic Honors; students with all A’s and B’s attain Academic Honors; and those with a 3.0 GPA with no grade less than a C- for the grading period attain Honors. In addition, lower school students must receive no more than two “needs improvement” ratings on those Work Habits and Social Skills that are considered in determining Honor Roll eligibility. Middle and upper school students must earn conduct grades no lower than two.
The following Charlotte County students are recognized for their academic achievements: Second nine weeks High Academic Honors, Isabella Thompson, grade 5; Marissa Dempsey, grade 6 and Collin Tharpe, Grade 12. Academic Honors List, Vivian Eason, grade 6; Addie Gilley, Grade 7; Dalton Tucker, grade 8; Chandler Wright, grade 8 and Curstan Tharpe, grade 10. Honors List, Jackson Hicks, grade 5; Julian Price, grade 6; Cole Foster, grade 7 and Justin Stimpson, grade 11. First Semester High Academic Honors List, Collin Tharpe, grade 12. Academic Honors List, Curstan Tharpe, grade 10 and Honors List, Justin Stimpson, grade 11.
