Randolph-Henry High School’s (R-H) baseball and softball programs had a big day April 16, with all four Statesmen teams earning James River District victories.

The Lady Statesmen varsity softball team defeated host Cumberland County High School 9-3 to improve to 3-5-1 on the season. It was their second consecutive win after topping visiting Buckingham County High School 6-4 on April 11.

The R-H junior varsity (JV) baseball team earned its first win of the season April 16, blowing out host Cumberland 16-0.

The Lady Statesmen JV softball team enjoyed a 13-3 win against visiting Cumberland to improve its record to 4-3.

Randolph-Henry’s varsity baseball team edged visiting Cumberland 5-4 on the same day, moving to 8-3.
