155TH ANNIVERSARY, of the Battle of Staunton River Bridge in Halifax and Charlotte counties. An array of events and programs have been planned. All events are free and open to the public and located at Clover Visitor Center at the Staunton River Battlefield State Park located at 1035 Fort Hill Trail, Randolph, (Halifax County Clover Visitor Center entrance).
GRAND SETTING, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at Central High School Museum, 401 Thomas Jefferson Highway, Charlotte Court House. A car show will begin at 9 a.m. Guest speaker will be Minister Daniel Smith from Springhill Baptist Church in Blackstone.
MUSIC, MESSAGE, FOOD AND FUN, 4-7 p.m. at Red House Fire Department, 9467 Red House Road. Food will be provided. Free to public. Family oriented. Hosted by the band of Saints and Martyrs.

REGION 2000 JOB SEARCH HELP, 10 a.m.-noon at Patrick Henry Memorial Library. A representative will be on hand to assist with job search, creating resumes, filling out applications and more. Free and open to the public.

REVIVAL, 7 p.m. nightly at Shiloh Baptist Church, Drakes Branch. The Rev. Peter Jeffrey, First Baptist Church, Dinwiddie will bring the word. Guest churches each night. All are welcome.

STORYTIME, 10 a.m. at Wylliesburg Library for preschoolers ages 3-5.
FUN AND CRAFT DAY, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library. Games, giveaways, water attractions, food, drinks, crafts and more. Come out to the park with the library and support local business. Dress to get wet and bring a T-shirt for tie-dying.

6-8 p.m. at the J. Robert Jamerson Library, Appomattox, ages 13-plus. Gucci, Versace, Supreme: brands famous for high price tags and ridiculous, over-the-top style. Bring your old, used, goodwill clothes and we’ll Gucci them out with rhinestones, straps, logos, paint, found items and more — the sky’s the limit.
