Randolph-Henry High School will be piloting a new program called Statesmen Care. The main hall restrooms will now feature a donation shelf for personal care products to be used by its young men and women. Students can discreetly obtain what is needed without the embarrassment of having to ask.

There are programs to address student needs interms of hunger, but some of the children lack the basic items they need to maintain proper personal care. The hope is that with the addition of this program all of the Statesmen will feel fresh and ready to learn each day. Being clean and healthy builds confidence, promotes good attendance, and
can help prevent bullying.

Students will be allowed to take what they need free of charge and with no questions asked. Donations can be dropped off at the school between the hours of 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Suggested items: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouth wash, brushes/combs, lip balm, wipes and sanitary napkins.
