AUGUST 14-16

REVIVAL, 7:30 p.m. at New Witt Baptist Church, Farmville Highway South, Meherrin Road, Farmville. Prayer and praise will begin at 7 p.m. Different guest ministers and choirs each night. All are welcome.

AUGUST 17

FOOD BANK, 10-11:45 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Red House with donations from Mt. Zion and Providence Baptist for those in the Phenix and surrounding Red House community who are residents of Charlotte. For questions, call Bernice at 248-6465 after 5 p.m.

IN CONCERT, 6 p.m. at Ontario Christian Church will be gospel recording artist Michael Wayne Smith of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The church is located at 175 Old Kings Road (Hwy. 622 & 360), Drakes Branch. Come out and join us for an evening of great music.

AUGUST 18

HOMECOMING, 11 a.m. at Mossingford Baptist Church. The speaker will be the Rev. Marvin Bowman and his choir from Bethel Grove, Clover. Come and worship with us. Pastor the Rev. John Craighead and church family.

HOMECOMING, 11 a.m. at Lebanon United Methodist Church. Former pastor, Justin Hicks, will deliver the message followed by a covered dish meal. All are welcome.

84TH HOMECOMING, 11 a.m. at Concord Baptist Church with Pastor Raleigh M. Bagley III. Music will be provided by the New Light Baptist Church Senior Choir of Skipwith. The church is located on highway 47. The male chorus of the Concord Baptist Church will be in charge of prayer and praise. A meal will be served. All are welcome.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, Keysville. Prophetess Sharon Davis of Richmond will be the guest proclaimer and the Mt. Ellis Baptist Church choir will render the music. Everyone is welcome.

AUGUST 18-23

HOMECOMING/REVIVAL, 11 a.m. at St. Andrews Baptist Church, Cullen with pastor, the Rev. Dr. Maurice D. Finney preaching the morning service. Dinner will be served. There will be no afternoon service. Revival will begin on Monday with praise service at 7 p.m. and the regular service at 7:30 p.m. Revivalist for the week will be Elder James Holcomb, III from Alabama. Different choirs will render the music.

AUGUST 22

COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR, 5:30 p.m. at the Estes Community Center, Chase City. Registration is recommended by calling (434) 532-8190. The event is free.

AUGUST 25-28

HOMECOMING/REVIVAL, 11 a.m. at Salem Baptist Church, 4050 Salem School Road, Red Oak. Pastor, the Rev. Roger Lee Allen, will be bringing the word and the Salem Baptist Church Mass Choir will be rendering the music. Revival will be held Monday-Wednesday with praise and worship at 7 p.m. with theme, “Dry bones come alive for the work of the Lord.” Guest revivalist each night. Everyone is welcome.

SEPTEMBER 7

COMMUNITY FUN DAY, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Emmanuel Bible Church, 401 Southern Drive, Keysville. Let’s all come together as a community and get to know one another. Great fellowship and fun for everyone in the Lord. Attractions include inflatables, cake walk, music, food, indoor and outdoor games and more. Come on out for good Christian fun.

SEPTEMBER 29

175 YEARS OF MINISTRY, 11 a.m. at New Store Presbyterian Church. Lunch will be served. Anyone who has photos or memories to share about the history of the church are asked to contact Terri Harris at (434) 838-0255 or by email at harris9969@aol.com.
