Law officers in Charlotte County were telling me how impossible drug arrests were not much more than five years ago.

So drug enforcement can happen if it’s an election year and there’s a challenger to the current sheriffs administration? But wait, is it just political propaganda?

The state police are not supposed to be in politics yet somehow an old story that’s already been out somehow comes out fresh to ABC13, The Southside Messenger, and The Charlotte Gazette supposedly submitted by the state police roughly two weeks before election. What we didn’t have noteworthy drug arrest stories to print middle or end of October 2016, 2017, 2018?
