Mar’kai Freeman, 8, of Lunenburg County, holds up a catfish he caught while fishing with his uncle, Larry “Cheese” Hurtt, in Charlotte County. The fish was 35 pounds and 40 inches in length, and when they cut it open, they found a 13-inch catfish inside that it had swallowed.
