A three-ton kyanite rock has been placed at the beginning of the new Dixon Trail at Patrick Henry’s Red Hill. The Dixon trail is named in memory of Red Hill’s past president Gene Dixon. Dixon, served as president of the Kyanite Mining Corporation. Dixon, born in Cullen and a graduate of Randolph Henry High School died July 24, 2017.
