BEAUTIFUL PLAIN BAPTIST – Beautiful Plain Baptist Church will hold services the second and fourth Sundays at 11 a.m. at Beautiful Plain Baptist Church, Charlotte Court House until further notice.

HEBRON UNITED METHODIST – Hebron United Methodist Church in Saxe will hold in-person services at 9:45 a.m. until further notice. Masks are required to attend.

LEBANON UNITED METHODIST – Until further notice Lebanon UMC on Crofton’s Gate Highway in Drakes Branch will be holding in-person worship at 11 a.m. on the first and third Sundays of the month. Masks are required to attend.

CHARLOTTE COURT HOUSE UNITED METHODIST – Until further notice Charlotte Court House UMC will be holding in-person services at 10 a.m. on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. Masks are required to attend. Services will also be broadcast on Facebook Live.

REPUBLICAN PATRIOT COOKOUT – Meet the candidates, eat some free hotdogs, and get Trump campaign signs. The picnic will be held Sunday, August 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Dixie Youth Ballpark Pavilion 300 Dixie Youth Drive Charlotte Court House. BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEET – The Charlotte County Board of Supervisors will have a broadband work session beginning at 6 p.m. in the Board Room of the County Administration Office.

BEEKEEPERS MEETING CANCELED– The Heart of Virginia Beekeepers meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Prince Edward County Extension Office is canceled.   For more information call Mary Jane Morgan at 434-315-1433.

ELECTORAL BOARD MEETING – The Electoral Board will meet at 10 a.m. at the Registrar’s Office, 420 Thomas Jefferson Highway, Charlotte Court House.

BACK TO SCHOOL CELEBRATION – At 4 pm, a Drive In Back to School Celebration will be held at the Lebanon UMC Pavilion. Join us for stories, songs, and back-to-school goodies for all ages.
