In celebration of National School Counselors’ Week, Randolph-Henry High School recognized counselors Julianna Reeves and Morgan Cassady.
Reeves is a 10th- and 11th-grade school counselor, the duel enrollment coordinator, and the testing coordinator for the school. Reeves works to ensure students have the knowledge and resources they need to participate in special programs and to meet their academic goals. Reeves also serves as one of Randolph-Henry’s volleyball coaches. Cassady is new to Randolph-Henry this year. She has worked with ninth graders as they transitioned to life at the high school. In addition, she works with seniors as they prepare for graduation and
beyond. This year, counselors have not allowed COVID to be a barrier to reaching out to students. They have created virtual tours, hosted Google Meets sessions, created a counseling Google Classroom, and created resources and activities to bring awareness to important topics such as teen suicide prevention.
