Bruce Lynn Hall, 62, passed away on March 4 in Lynchburg. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Irvin Hall, Sr. and Maude Pennell Hall and his oldest brother, Clarence Edward Hall (Bonnie).

He is survived by his loving wife, Tamara Chambers Hall. Bruce was the proud father of two children, Drew Hall and Megan Hagerty (C.J.). He is survived by two brothers, William Jackson Hall (Brenda) and Clyde Irvin Hall, Jr. (Sharon) and a sister, Janice Hall Lumpkin. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Cale, Parks and Burke Hagerty, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Bruce and Tammie were high school sweethearts who were married for 43 years. Bruce worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years. He served as the Drakes Branch Postmaster for the majority of his career. He was a member of St. Johns Masonic Lodge 144 and Chandlers Fork Hunt Club. He was a lifetime member of Eureka Baptist Church. He enjoyed seeing familiar faces working part-time at Drakes Farm and Home. Bruce enjoyed farming, gardening, bluegrass music, camping and watching his grandsons.

A graveside funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 8 at Eureka Baptist Church. Public viewing wad held Sunday, March 7 at Browning-Duffer Funeral Home, Keysville from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions mask and social distancing were required.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Eureka Baptist Church Building Fund, the Drakes Branch Volunteer Fire Department or Truckers Parade Against Cancer. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville served the family.
