Ruby Jean McAllister, 73 of Charlotte Court House, passed away March 5 in Fayetteville North Carolina. Born Aug. 13, 1947 in Farmville, Ruby is the daughter of the late Samuel and Rachel Poulston. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Ira “Jackie” McAllister and three brothers, Tony, Samuel Jr. and Charles Poulston.

She is survived by four daughters, Wendy Floyd and husband, Wayne, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Cindy White, Barbara Jean Marker and Wanda Francis of Charlotte County. She has thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Three sisters, Debbie Lusk, Joyce Robertson and Shirley Jamerson also survive her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, for all of her family and friends to attend.
