Clayton-Prince receives promotion

Dr. Lynn Clayton-Prince, the daughter of Jeannie Clayton and the late Leamon Clayton, has been promoted from the position of director, to assistant superintendent of special education/equity and diversity for Powhatan County Public Schools.
Clayton-Prince attended Longwood College where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in special education, and her Master’s degree in administration supervision.
She also attended Virginia Polytechnic University, receiving her Ph.D in educational leadership and policy studies.
Clayton-Prince has been in education for 28 years in Amelia and Powhatan County Public Schools.
Her aunt Annie Hardy of Chase City and uncle Roderick Brooks of Red Oak are also very proud of her accomplishments.
