Via a Facebook post Charlotte County Public Schools announced Monday, “The teacher workday scheduled for tomorrow is postponed due to hazardous driving conditions. This workday is essential for the transition to second semester and has been moved to Wednesday, Jan. 5. Schools will be closed for students on Wednesday. Students will return to school on Thursday, Jan. 6. Twelve month employees should report by 10 a.m Tuesday or use leave.”
