FOOD DISTRIBUTION — Beth Baptist Church will hold food distribution on Saturday, May 13. The food will be given out on a first come, first serve basis, beginning at 10 a.m. and going until the food runs out.

MAY 21

PASTORAL ANNIVERSARY — St. Andrews Baptist Church in Cullen will celebrate Rev. Dr. Maurice Finney and First Lady Beatrice Finney, paying tribute to their 30th year ministering at the church. Rev. Jerry Streat from Poplar Lawn Church in Blackstone will deliver the message during the 11 a.m. service. A meal will be served afterward.

JUNE 3

USED BOOK SALE — The Friends of the Library will hold a used book sale on Saturday, June 3, from 9 a.m. to noon. The event will be held behind the main library, located at 112 Le Grande Avenue, Charlotte Court House.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY WORSHIP — A worship service with Confident Women Ministry is held every Sunday at 3 p.m. online via conference call. Services are led by Rev. Loretta Bailey and anyone is invited to call 1-657-390-7012 to take part.

ST. MICHAEL BAPTIST CHURCH — St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch holds worship services at 11 a.m. the second and fourth Sundays of each month Masks are required. The Rev. James E. Goode is the pastor.

AMATEUR RADIO MEETING — The Charlotte County Amateur Radio Club meets the first Sunday of the month at 1426 Estes Road in Chase City. The meeting begins at 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome. For more information, contact Jason at (434) 944-9100.

HEBRON UNITED METHODIST — Hebron United Methodist Church in Saxe holds in-person services at 9:45 a.m. until further notice. Masks are required to attend.

PHENIX UNITED METHODIST CHURCH — Phenix United Methodist Church, 225 Church St., in Phenix worship service is at 9 a.m. each Sunday morning. Masks and physical distancing are required. There will be no Sunday school.

MT. CARMEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH — Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 1101 Mt. Carmel Road, in Brookneal worship service is at 11 a.m. each Sunday morning. Masks and physical distancing are required. There will be no Sunday school.
