The Keysville Garden Club will hold a Flower Show at Maple Roads, the home of Max and Carol Sempowski, on April 30 from 1-5 p.m.

The show will be a small standard show titled “Leap Into Action.”

The club encourages a $5 donation at the door.

Maple Roads, first named Rock Heath, was built no later than 1820 by Capt. John D. Richardson, who was a farmer, politician and military hero of Charlotte County. The Sempowskis, certified graduates of historic preservation, purchased this historic property in 2000.

With their hard work and dedication, Maple Roads earned a place on the Virginia Landmark Registry and The National Registry of Historical Places.

The Sempowski residence is located at 1325 Richardson Road in Keysville.
