Another Randolph-Henry High senior has committed to play sports in college. Daniel Powell Jr. recently signed with Bluefield State University on Friday, Nov. 17, during a ceremony held at 3 p.m. in the Randolph-Henry Library. “This achievement is a testament to Daniel’s dedication both on and off the field,” Randolph-Henry Principal Erin Davis said. “As an honor student with an impressive GPA, he not only excelled in academics but also demonstrated exceptional talent and commitment to the sport of baseball.” Powell is seen here surrounded by his family as he officially signs with the school.
