MUSEUM TOURS – The Central High Museum will be open for tours from noon to 5 p.m. The museum is located at 401 Thomas Jefferson Highway in Charlotte Court House.

JUNE 2
FAMILY AND FRIENDS DAY — New Witt Baptist Church will celebrate Family & Friends Day on Sunday, June 2 at 3 p.m. The special guests for this service will be the Traveling Angels and the New Bethel Community Choir in concert.
JUNE 4
SUMMER STORYTIME – The Charlotte County Library will hold Summer Storytime at its Charlotte Court House branch on Tuesday, June 4, beginning at 11 a.m. The library is located at 112-116 LeGrande Avenue.
JUNE 5

JUNE 8
CRUISE-IN — The second annual Cool Down in Town Cruise-In will take place in Phenix on Saturday, June 8. Cars, jeeps and utvs will be on display from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with vendors and food trucks set up as well. The Southland Band will be performing after the Cruise-In from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
SUMMER READING SIGNUP – Sign up for the Charlotte County Library’s Summer Reading program. It’ll run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Charlotte Court House Library Lawn. Residents can enjoy making s’mores, with live music and lawn games.
JUNE 10
SUMMER STORYTIME – The Charlotte County Library will hold Summer Storytime at its Keysville branch on Monday, June 10, beginning at 11 a.m. The library is located at 300 King Street.
JUNE 22
LIBRARY BOOKSALE – The Friends of the Charlotte County Library will hold their annual booksale on Saturday, June 22 from 9 a.m. to noon. That’ll take place at the Charlotte Court House branch, located at 112-116 LeGrande Avenue. There will be books on hand for all ages.

WEEKLY WORSHIP — Tabernacle Baptist Church will hold Sunday School every Sunday at 10 a.m. except 5th Sundays. Services start at 11:30 a.m. on the first and third Sunday of the month.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY WORSHIP — A worship service with Confident Women Ministry is held every Sunday at 3 p.m. online via conference call. Services are led by Rev. Loretta Bailey and anyone is invited to call 1-657-390-7012 to take part.
ST. MICHAEL BAPTIST CHURCH — St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch holds worship services at 11 a.m. the second and fourth Sundays of each month Masks are required. The Rev. James E. Goode is the pastor.
SHILOH BAPTIST CHURCH — Shiloh Baptist Church, located at 125 Shiloh Church Road in Drakes Branch holds services every Sunday at 10 a.m. Rev. Dr. Horace B. Parham Jr. is the pastor. All are welcome.
AMATEUR RADIO MEETING — The Charlotte County Amateur Radio Club meets the first Sunday of the month at 5104 Double Bridges Road in Meherrin. The meeting begins at 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome. For more information, contact Joe Reid at (808)-927-8910.
ST. ANDREWS BAPTIST CHURCH — St. Andrews Baptist Church in Cullen holds worship services at 11 a.m. the first and third Sundays. Sunday school begins at 9:45 a.m. the first, second, third and fourth Sundays. The Rev. Dr. Maurice Finney is the pastor.
BEAUTIFUL PLAIN BAPTIST — Beautiful Plain Baptist Church holds services at 11 a.m. the second and fourth Sundays at Beautiful Plain Baptist Church, Charlotte Court House until further notice.
HEBRON CHURCH — Hebron Church located at 111 Hebron Church Road in Saxe holds in-person services at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday.
PHENIX UNITED METHODIST CHURCH — Phenix United Methodist Church, 225 Church St., in Phenix worship service is at 9 a.m. each Sunday morning. There will be no Sunday school.
MT. CARMEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH — Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 1101 Mt. Carmel Road, in Brookneal worship service is at 11 a.m. each Sunday morning. There will be no Sunday school.
