At Phenix Elementary this year, students were given a special assignment. Every month, they voted on someone the group believed shows a social skill related to kindness. This was called The Kindness Club, with the student or students who were chosen each month honored in front of classmates and parents. In April, students voted on who they think used patience the best. In May, students voted on who had been the most kind all school year. “We’re proud of these students for using their kindness skills and making a positive impact on others,” Phenix Elementary staff said in a statement.
