A number of colleges and universities released their academic awards honor roll for the fall semester over the past week. And with that, several Charlotte County residents made their respective lists.

Keysville resident Ethan Hanks made the Dean’s List at Shenandoah University for the Fall 2024 semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List at Shenandoah, students must be enrolled full-time in baccalaureate degree programs and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher. He was one of only 539 to receive that honor. Students at Shenandoah who achieve a GPA of 3.9 or higher also qualify for the President’s List. Hanks made that list as well.

A number of other Charlotte County residents were honored this month. The same requirements as at Shenandoah are in place at Southern New Hampshire University, where Drakes Branch native Tuana Townes made the Dean’s List. At James Madison University, Keysville’s Andrew Godfrey earned a spot on the Dean’s List, while Drakes Branch native Misha Clark and Keysville native Samantha Venditti made the JMU President’s List.
