New Witt Baptist Church, located on Farmville Hwy. South, will begin its homecoming and revival services on Sunday. The events will run through Friday, Aug. 19. Homecoming service will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday with the Rev. Winston Bland delivering the message. Revival will begin Monday with prayer and praise beginning at 7 p.m. and revival starting at 7:30 p.m. Revival guests are: Monday, the Rev. Calvin Gray and New Jerusalem Baptist Church; Tuesday, the Rev. James T. Ashton and First Baptist Church Farmville; Wednesday, the Rev. Raymond Dowdy and Cherry Hill Baptist Church; Thursday, the Rev. Jerry Streat and Poplar Lawn Baptist Church; and Friday, the Rev. James Taylor and Race Street Baptist. The public is invited to attend.
