A Brookneal man and his son face multiple charges in connection with an incident which took place on the night of July 31.
Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Jeffrey Wayne Fannon, 52, and Brandon Wayne Fannon, 26, during the early morning hours of Aug. 1.
Brandon Fannon — who, according to online records, is still being held at the Charlotte County Jail — faces a first offense of DWI and failing to stop/eluding police.
Jeffrey Fannon — who, online court records show, recently bonded out of the county jail — faces two counts of destruction of property with intent under $1,000; and one count each of reckless driving/endangering life/limb/property, trespassing in cemetery at night, aggressive driving and improper passing.
Law enforcement and court officials have indicated the Fannons were allegedly intoxicated the night of the incidents. Online court records show the two were arraigned Aug. 4. Their next court appearances are Nov. 3.
