Wednesday night I could not believe she said it: “No one died in Libya.” 

I have tried to hold my tongue on the lies that Hillary Clinton has offered up to the American people. I can no longer. 

We know that four good Americans died in Libya. That is a fact. Why would she repeat this lie once again? She used the same words six months ago in March qualifying it by saying “under my watch.” Are we to believe that adding those words allows her to wash her hands of the blood of Americans that she was unwilling to demand that our military attempt to save?

Was this another way to give wiggle room for her to avoid appearing to be responsible for those who died in Benghazi just as her husband qualifying what the meaning of “is” is?

By this time, most Americans who have watched or listened to the news over the last year know that Clinton has set herself adrift of honesty for years. Just in the last few, she has reported that she had to make a dash at an airport because of a hail of gunfire. Gunfire that no one else saw or heard. 

Her telling the families of the four Americans that the deaths were the outgrowth of a video clip just hours from the time she told her own daughter that it had nothing to do with the video. The examples could go on and on.

Lying can be devastating. Not only does it hurt the ones being lied to, but it also hurts the one lying. For those in the public eye it removes all credibility.  Interestingly, there are different types of liars.

Sociopathic liars

Sociopathic liars are defined as those who lie continuously in an attempt to get their own way with no concern for others. These individuals are completely focused on their own goals. Even though it might seem hard to believe, they are focused on getting their own way. Sociopaths have little respect or regard for the needs and rights of others.

Compulsive liars

The next type of liars are compulsive liars. They can best be described as someone who continually lies from sheer habit. Lying tends to be their normal manner of responding to any questions from others. These individuals will always bend the truth, regardless of how small or large the issue. For these individuals, telling the truth does not feel right. They are uncomfortable whenever they tell the truth, while lying makes them feel right.

Compulsive lying is often thought to manifest during childhood due to being put into situations where lying became a necessity. Most of the time, compulsive liars are not cunning or manipulative.

I can see some aspects of Clinton as both a sociopathic liar and a compulsive liar.
