Deborah Osborne “Debbie” Jones, age 63, of Charlotte Court House, VA, passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2016.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charlie A. Osborne.

Debbie is survived by her husband, of 42 years, James D. “Jimmy” Jones; a son, David Jones; her mother, Dorothy H. Osborne; a sister, Kim Pillow (Rodney); three nephews, Dustin Pillow (Kendall), Corbin Pillow, Benjamin Jones (Teresa); three nieces, Christy Epperly (Darren), Amy Morris (Michael), Michelle Owens (Greg); six great-nieces and great-nephews, Grady Pillow, Jessica, Austin and Joseph Bane, Megan and Hanna Owens; and two brothers-in-law, Robert W. Jones (Becky) and John Michael Jones (Marilyn). 

She was employed by Charlotte County Public Schools for 35 years as a secretary and bookkeeper. Debbie loved to read, enjoyed her flowers, loved traveling and taking pictures and sending cards to friends and loved ones.

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, 2016 in the Evergreen Cemetery, Charlotte C.H., VA.  The family received friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016.
