County receives resolution for tornado assistance

At Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting, Charlotte County was recognized for its contributions to the town of Appomattox after last winter’s tornado. On Feb. 24, more than 200 structures sustained damage due to damaging conditions associated with the tornado. On April 18, the Appomattox County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution in honor of the collaborative assistance from surrounding counties during their time of need.
