WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY, 6 p.m. at Beautiful Plain Baptist Church in Charlotte Court House. All women are encouraged to come out and study God’s word.

MEN’S DAY PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at Mossingford Baptist Church. The Rev. James Goode, Pastor of St. Michael Baptist Church, will be the speaker. Music will be rendered by the Mt. Mitchell Baptist Church Male Chorus. Everyone is invited.

EVANS-SMITH PROGRAM, at the Keysville headquarters of the Bluestone-Harmony Association. The Evans-Smith program will continue with the second semester. Only one level one class is offered. For details, call Dr. Herman Lundy at (434) 955-7036 or (434) 774-7511.

HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Drakes Branch’s Main Street. The festival will include music, crafts and food vendors, face painting, inflatables, a halloween costume contest, trick or treat candy and the farmer’s market. This event is sponsored by the Charlotte County Historical and Genealogical Society, and the Drakes Branch Museum.

MEN AND WOMEN’S DAY, 3 p.m. at Aspen Hill Baptist Church in Brookneal. The preacher for the occasion will be the Rev. Jerry Streat, Pastor of Poplar Lawn Baptist Church in Blackstone. Music will be rendered by the Rev. Bill Davis and the Set Free gospel singers. A repast will be served after the service.

HALLOWEEN, 5-7 p.m. in the town of Keysville. Only children 12 and under should dress for the occasion.
November 4
ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BAZAAR, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 700 Buffalo St. in Farmville. Seventeen vendors will participate. Items for sale will include jewelry, crafts, white elephant room, jams, jellies, stained glass, baked goods table, cafe and more. The event will feature a local author book signing as well. Admission is free.
November 5

FOOD DRIVE, at Charlotte Primary Care. Non-perishable food items are currently being accepted until Nov. 10. All donations will be provide food for fellow Virginians through Feed More.
