SMARTPHONE LITERACY WORKSHOP, 10:30 a.m.-noon at the Charlotte Adult Learning Center. Classes will include basic knowledge, texting, calling, application downloading and application usage. BLOOD DRIVE, 1-6 p.m. at the Drakes Branch Municipal Building Community Room. The municipal building is located at 4818 N. Main St. in Drakes Branch.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY, 6 p.m. at Morrison Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte Court House. All women are welcome to come out and study the word of God.

USDA FOOD DISTRIBUTION, 10 a.m.-noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Red House. USDA food can only be received at one site. Food will only be given to those in the Phenix and surrounding Red House community. BLACK HISTORY PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at St. Michael Baptist Church. Guest preacher for the occasion will be the Rev. Kitty Smith. A skit will be performed by the youth. Dinner will be served. Everyone is welcome.
GUATEMALA TRIP PRESENTATION, 7-8 p.m. at Eureka Baptist Church in Keysville. The presentation will include a 20-minute video and stories from the team members who recently traveled to help share Jesus in the rural mountains of Guatemala.

CHARLOTTE COUNTY GRAYS MEETING, 6:30 p.m. at Sheldon’s Restaurant in Keysville. The program for this meeting will start at 7 p.m. and will include an interesting story of Confederate history. Anyone who has an interest in the history of the South and The War Between the States is welcome. CATTLEMAN’S MEETING, 6:30 p.m. at FFF Hunting Preserve in Keysville. The county fence ordinance will be the topic of discussion. Legal council will be present to give livestock producers an idea of how the ordinance will affect them. Other owners of hooved livestock are welcome to attend. WINTER GALA, 6 p.m. at SVCC’s Workforce Development Center in Keysville. The event held by the Charlotte County Meals on Wheels will feature dinner, music, door prizes and a silent auction. Tickets are $30. To purchase tickets, call (434) 736-8441.
APRIL 8
EASTER EGG HUNT, 2 p.m. at Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. This event is free to the public. The Easter Bunny will make a visit and prizes to be awarded.

BARKSDALE SCHOLARSHIP, The Barksdale Cancer Foundation is sponsoring a one-time scholarship for high school graduates pursuing a medical career.
