Farmer’s Market begins Friday

The Charlotte County Farmer’s Market at Drakes Branch will kick-off its new season Friday at 10 a.m. at the Drakes Branch Pavilion.
“This year, the Farmer’s Market will be open two days, on Friday and Saturday, for the public to enjoy,” officials said in a news release.”
Hours for the market will be 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m.-noon on Saturday.
“This year’s market will include fresh produce, homemade baked and canned goods, jams and jelly, local herbs, herb crafts and Amish wood-crafted products, in addition to beef, pork, poultry and farm-fresh eggs.”
Food will be available on Friday and entertainment will be provided by Jeremy Michael Elder from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
