Aspen/Phenix District School Board Representative Kenneth Redmond has announced his candidacy for re-election to the Charlotte County School Board.

“It has been an honor and privilege to serve the Aspen/Phenix District as your school board representative for the past four years,” Redmond said in a news release. “My main goal is for each child to receive equal opportunity to obtain the best education possible in a safe and healthy environment. If you choose to let me serve another term, I will continue to work toward these goals with the children’s best interests as my main priority.”

The election for the seat is in November.
