Joseph Carlton Graves, age 62 of Drakes Branch, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at his residence.  He was the son of the late Mr. Joseph H. Graves and Mrs. Florence Guthrie Graves.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Thompson Graves of the home; a son, Tevan L. Eggleston of Keysville; two sisters, Nannie G. Dixon (Starling) of Capitol Heights, MD and Pamela L. Graves of South Boston; two brothers, James B. Graves (Kathy) of Danville and W. Michael Graves (Wandra) of Nathalie; one aunt, Virginia L. Scruggs of Richmond; father-in-law, Howard Thompson; two sisters-in-law, Lisa T. Traynham (David) and Debreta T. Clark (Leslie) all of Drakes Branch; brother-in-law, Wayne Thompson (Ana) of Chesterfield; four nieces, Nicole, Whitney, Oneisha, and Kayla; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Bluestone Harmony Center in Keysville. Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.
