Elizabeth V. Freeman celebrated her birthday Saturday with family and friends. Appreciation goes out to nurse Michelle White for giving her a birthday celebration. She received lots of nice gifts and phone calls. She had a wonderful time. She was 85 years old. Even though she is not able to get out and about, she is still in great spirits. The food was also delicious.

Tameka Freeman Spencer celebrated her birthday Tuesday.

GOALS

In life, as in football, you won’t go far unless you know where the goal posts are. What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.

Don’t adjust the goals — adjust the action steps. Set your goals high and don’t stop until you get there. Greatness is not measured by what a man or woman accomplishes, but by the opposition he or she has overcome to reach his goals.
