Twin Lakes State Park offers an hour-and-a-half canoe trip every other Saturday from May 13-Oct. 7, weather permitting.

Running from 10 a.m.-noon, the trip takes participants on a relaxing and easy paddle around Prince Edward Lake to search for wildlife and to discover the history of the park. 

Children younger than 4 years old are not permitted in canoes. Children 10 and younger must be accompanied by one adult in each canoe. Close-toed shoes are required.

Trip is $5 per person, with a group rate of $4 per person for groups of four or more. There is a maximum of 12 persons per trip. Participants must register in advance up to the morning of the event. Call (434) 392-3435.
