Will Stafford from WSET Channel 13 news visited the second grade classes at Phenix Elementary School on Oct. 11. The students have been reading a story in class entitled “Super Storms” and learning about different types of weather.  Students have been especially interested in the current hurricane season. Stafford was able to talk to students about many different topics such as seasons, tornados, blizzards, the difference between a tsunami and typhoon, and especially about the current hurricane season.  Afterwards, students were given an opportunity to ask Stafford questions about the weather.  This event was enjoyed by everyone.
