WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY, 6 p.m. at Morrison Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte Court House. All women are invited.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BAZAAR, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday at St. Theresa Parish Center in Farmville. Admission is free and will include a local author book signing, door prizes, baked goods, crafts, stained glass and more.
November 4
USED BOOK SALE, 9 a.m.-noon in the small brick building behind the Charlotte Court House Library. This event is hosted by the Charlotte County Library. Very low prices on books and DVD’s. All proceeds benefit the four libraries of Charlotte County.
BENEFIT STEW, 10 a.m. at Central High Museum grounds. Stew master will be Melvin Woodson. Hot dogs, hamburgers, cakes and pies will also be available for sale. To preorder, call Thelma Jones at (434) 568-6621 and Dr. Hezteine Foster at (434) 248-5513 or (434) 665-8492. Donations are accepted.
PASTOR’S AIDE ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church in Red Oak. The Rev. Opie Terrell, Pastor of Nut Bush Baptist Church in Henderson, North Carolina and First Baptist Church in Wylliesburg will be the guest speaker. Music will be rendered by the White Oak Grove Mass Choir of Phenix St. Luke Baptist Church choir of Skipwith. All are invited.

SENIOR CHOIR ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Jericho Baptist Church in Farmville. Special guests will include the St. Michael Baptist Church Senior Choir and Mount Zion Second Baptist Church Senior Choir.
PASTOR’S ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at St. Louis Baptist Church in Charlotte Court House. Pastor Brown from Promised Land Baptist Church will be the minister for the hour along with his choir. Everyone is invited.
November 12
CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 2:30 p.m. at New Store Baptist. The Rev. Lloyd Feggans will be the guest speaker and New Green Mountain Choir will provide music. All are invited.
November 18
THANKSGIVING MARKET, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Drakes Branch Pavilion. Join the Charlotte County farmers market at Drakes Branch for their special market dates.
December 2

ARTISTS AMONG US, The Friends of the Charlotte County Library invite the public to visit the Keysville Branch Library from Oct. 19 – November 22 to view the art show, which features the works of more than a dozen talented professional artists with close ties to Charlotte County. There are many works of art on exhibit, and they may be viewed from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays as well as from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays.
