VETERAN’S DAY PROGRAM, 2 p.m. at Central Middle School. Refreshments will follow. This program is sponsored by Charlotte County Public Schools.

November 11

GOSPEL CONCERT, 6:30 p.m. at Ontario Christian Church in Drakes Branch. Gospel recording artist Michael Wayne Smith of Oak Ridge, Tennessee will be in concert.

ART SHOW, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the freight room of the Pamplin Depot. Local artists will exhibit their work.

BENEFIT STEW, 11 a.m. at Scuffletown Grocery. Proceeds will support Darrell Bennett. This event is sponsored by friends. For preorders, call (434) 454-6299.

November 12

CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 2:30 p.m. at New Store Baptist. The Rev. Lloyd Feggans will be the guest speaker and New Green Mountain Choir will provide music. All are invited.

USHER’S ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at New Witt Baptist Church. Special guest will be the Rev. Erika Tyree, Associate Minister of the Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Cumberland. The public is invited.

PASTOR’S AID PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Brookneal. This program will be held by the Pastor’s Aid Society. The public is invited.

USHER’S ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Keysville. Everyone is invited.

November 18

THANKSGIVING MARKET, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Drakes Branch Pavilion. Join the Charlotte County Farmer’s Market at Drakes Branch for their special market dates.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS DAY, 11 a.m. at St. Andrews Baptist Church in Cullen. Pastor Maurice Finney will bring the word and dinner will be served. All are invited.

ARTISTS AMONG US, The Friends of the Charlotte County Library invite the public to visit the Keysville Branch Library from Oct. 19 until Nov. 22 to view the art show, which features the works of more than a dozen talented professional artists with close ties to Charlotte County. There are many works of art on exhibit, and they may be viewed from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays as well as from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays.
