USDA FOODBANK, 10 a.m.-noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Red House. USDA food can only be received at one site in Virginia. This foodbank is for those in the Phenix and surrounding Red House community. Please bring a large cardboard box. For more information, call Bernice Pannell at (434) 248-6465 after 5 p.m. and before 8 p.m.

CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Galilee Baptist Church. The Rev. John Craighead will be the guest speaker along with his choir. Dinner will be served. All are invited.
SENIOR CITIZENS THANKSGIVING DINNER, 3 p.m. The Guest speaker for the evening will be the Rev. Willie Vaughan of Farmville. Music will be provided by The Gospel Traveliers. This event is sponsored by the Prince Edward Elks Lodge #269 and Manhattan Temple #184. Everyone is invited.
PRE-THANKSGIVING SERVICE, 3 p.m. at Gill Hill Baptist Church in Keysville. The Blackstone Community Chorus will perform. Everyone is invited.
CEMETERY ASSOCIATION MEETING, 7 p.m. at Drakes Branch Presbyterian Church. The Drakes Branch Presbyterian Church has turned over the operation of its cemetery to an independent association. The Drakes Branch Presbyterian Church now has full control of the cemetery. All interested parties should attend the meeting.

CHARLOTTE COUNTY GRAYS #1964 MEETING, 6:30 p.m. at Sheldon’s Restaurant in Keysville. The meeting will begin with a Dutch treat meal followed by a short business meeting and a program. James Haymes, Sergeant Major, Retired, US Army, will be our guest speaker. The meeting is open to all who are interested in learning about the true history of the South.
