Randolph-Henry High School’s varsity girls basketball team struggled last year to compile wins but grew throughout the course of the season and brings a roster dominated by upperclassmen into the 2017-18 campaign.

The Lady Statesmen feature four seniors, five juniors and two sophomores this season. The seniors include guards Tykeria Banks and Tyra Randolph and forwards/centers Tori Thompson and Tori Washington.

D.J. Jack returns as head coach to help Randolph-Henry build on its 2016-17 effort.

The regular season begins Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Amelia County High School. The Lady Statesmen also visit Gretna High School on Friday at 7 p.m.
