FFA chapters go fishing

It’s an annual event, one students and faculty alike look forward to. This time, the 14th FFA fishing tournament took place on Thursday, April 24, with students from Randolph-Henry and Central Middle School joining forces to host. The event brought together FFA members for an afternoon of relaxation, camaraderie, and outdoor fun. Members of both FFA chapters enjoyed an afternoon of fishing, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of the R-H Land Lab and spending time with friends. Adding to the educational aspect of the event, members had the opportunity to meet with Dan Michaelson, a fisheries biologist from the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries (DGIF).
