David Hilton Hicks

David Hilton Hicks, 70 of Charlotte Court House, passed away on June 2, in Lynchburg. He was the son of the late William Lee Hicks and. Mary Johnson Hicks.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Johnson, and one sister, Annie Perry.

He is survived by three sisters, Hilda M. Hicks, of New York, Mary Hicks Spencer, of Charlotte Court House and LaTanya Hicks, of Richmond; four brothers, William L. Hicks (Ligaya) of Waddell, Arizona, John Hicks and Edward Hicks, both of Charlotte Court House and Roger Hicks (Christine), of Richmond, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 11, at 12 p.m. at David’s Park, 265 Hicks Lane, Charlotte Court House, with interment in the Hicks Family Cemetery. Public viewing will begin on Thursday from 12 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
