Donald Roy Freeman

Donald Roy Freeman, 64 of Keysville, passed away on March 19 in Richmond. He was the son of Marie S. Freeman and the late Lonnie Wesley Freeman. He was married to Anita Coleman Freeman.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lonnie Louis, twin brother, Ronald Freeman and brother-in-law, Jerome Shepperson.

He is survived by his children, Omar Roberts of Randolph, Denise Nicholson of Dinwiddie, Terrell Freeman of South Carolina, Donald Jr. Freeman and Eboni Freeman of Farmville; 12 grandchildren, Treymon, Kaydee, Shakayln, J’Dren, Jekeddia, Qua’Nita, Devin, MiChaela, MiChaden, Sarai, Jazir, Jhalil and Kai; two great grandchildren, Treasure and Messiah; his mother, Marie S. Freeman of Randolph; mother-in-law, Hattie A. Coleman of Meherrin; sister, Shirley Shepperson of Chesterfield; brother, Royal Freeman of Randolph; aunt, Geneva Younger; a niece, Angela Shepperson; two nephews, Jehmal Shepperson and Brandon Mosley; three great nieces, Jehkya, Milan and Parker and a host of close cousins, friends and loved ones.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 24 at 2 p.m. at Mossingford Baptist Church in Saxe with interment in the church cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.
