The Charlotte County Angels are the 2022 District 7 Champions. After falling to Halifax the team rallied to win against Brookneal, and Halifax last week. According to Charlotte County Dixie Softball commissioner William Collins, this is a historic feat for our county softball program. This is the first time we have ever had three teams win in district play and move on to the state tournament in the same year. The Darlings State Tournament will begin on Friday, July 8 in Kenbridge, and the Angels and Ponytails State Tournaments will begin on Friday, July 8 in Amherst.
