On Monday, Dec. 12, Bacon District Elementary will open its doors and let the public come check out the new renovations and construction. From 4 to 6 p.m., Charlotte County residents can see the changes at the school.

“The investment by the community in our school has transformed and refreshed our school,” said Bacon District Principal William Pettus. “(It) created a positive learning environment that students and staff enjoy working in each day.”

Pettus thanked the Board of Supervisors and Charlotte County School Board for helping make the rebuild a reality.

“The Bacon District School family would like to thank everyone for their support and Jamerson Lewis Construction for their hard work,” Pettus added. “We look forward to sharing our school with the community on Dec. 12.”
